It's popular to attack Sen. Williams for his inconsistencies and individualistic nature but, despite his friendship with John Wilder, he voted to defend the Tennessee Constitution. I hope that at least some were motivated by <a href="http://wisdomisvindicated.blogspot.com/2008/05/now-thats-progress-tennessee-plan-not.html" rel="nofollow">high ideals</a>. We'll see. Terry,
