Invasion of the Body Snatchers! Give Kleinheider back!
MEMO
Attention: to the entity or entities who have taken A.C. Kleinheider, you have 24 hours to return him to his cubby and keyboard. We want the real Kleinheider back…and now.
Evidence: From today’s post on Al Gore’s feasting at the electric and natural gas trough, we know it’s not really A.C. at the keyboard:
Al Gore lives a life different from most folks. I’m not one to defend elitism, not as a matter of practice, but some elitism is inevitable. There must be a leadership class. There always has been and there always will be. Even societies organized around the principle of the equality and preeminence of the proletariat have had an elite class. It is the natural order of things.
On his post, Kleinheider has received a lot of really good comments. They are great…but I didn’t recognize any of the names. So who was linking to Kleinheider, I wondered. It had to be someone good. Alas, I discovered the source of his comment deluge: Hugh Hewitt.
Dean Barnett from the big league Hugh Hewitt site says of Kleinheider’s statement:
Although I find this line of thinking unpersuasive, I have to grudgingly admire its perhaps unwitting candor. “Gore’s elite; of course he gets to live like an American Pasha.”
It’s the alien Kleinheider’s defense of the elite Gore that has commenters accusing him of being a “moonbat.” Bring Kleinheider back!!

Assuming the PDF file A.C. pointed to today is correct (CHECK THE KERNING, WINGBATS!), our non-legitimate, AEI-sodden brethren overstated Gore’s electric bill by nearly three times.
Gosh, golly gee. Next thing you know, someone will claim water’s wet.

Btw, heard a joke:
Q: How many Iraqis have electric bills of $1100 US a month?
A: None — The power’s only on a couple of hours each day!

Jeffraham–Al Gore has not argued that their numbers are incorrect.
As far as your Iraqi joke…you don’t know what you’re talking about. Here’s my joke for you:
A: How much electricity would the Iraqis need if liberal democrats like Jeffraham Prestonian are in charge?
A: None. You don’t need electricity when you’re dead!

[...] When different sides of an issue say that you are against them and they want you “back”, you are doing alright. This is the number one rule of being in the news business. If you were always on one side of an issue, that would be not be newsy. That would be punditry. You do mix it up, do the dismay of everyone. But that’s what news is all about. [...]

I doubt Gore knows, to be honest, but A.C. says NES knows. And if what he’s got is authentic, $13131 != $30,000, no matter how fact-challenged and kool-aid saturated one may be.
And I find it interesting that your joke is dependent on speculation, whereas mine’s based on facts on the ground in Iraq, right now, after four years of a GOP “project” to
find WMDget back at al Qaedadepose Saddamliberate Iraqdo… um, something..

J.P. You are starting to act/sound like a crazy stalker. Why dont you put up your talk at your blog? I am sure it could do with a few less cat photos and most people here think you sound like a person a little over the edge. The numbers are for gas AND electric.

Newscoma: I wouldn’t include AC in any specific group at all. He’s kind of a man without a home…in terms of political labels, that is. He’s conservative on some things…liberal on others…libertarian at times. I just was having a little fun with the idea that he’d been snatched.
All in good fun.

Cool. I like to bug him myself, just from the other side of the political spectrum.

So you say, but you haven’t shown the gas bill, yet. Forgive me if I remain skeptical until I see the proof. I mean, it’s not like you, Congressman Campfield, are a trustworthy source for the truth. Your ax is constantly being ground.
