It’s a Presidential Debate, not a classroom

Fred Thompson has a big moment during the debate. Awesome stuff.

And if you want to have a little fun, watch the video closely. After the question, Rudy, McCain, and Huckabee all raise their hands right away. Romney starts to raise his hand and then pulls it back down and claps for Fred.

Here’s Fred, via Michelle Malkin:

Here’s a post debate analysis from Iowa.

UPDATE: Michelle Malkin has done a freeze frame of the hands up crowd.

That was awesome! These moderators like to play gotcha and try to define the candidates. Fred stood up and did not take the bait. Anyone who has ever been in this situation, as I have on a smallr scale, knows how awsome this would feel. If it were me I would say: “With all due respect mam’ I get to decide what my stances are without being framed by your methods.”

Hi Terry

While I can’t normally take listening to neocon lapdog Sean Hannity, I tuned in to his radio show only two hear him say that not one single Republican raised his hand. What a fraud this guy is. Does he really think he can just lie to his listeners and no one will know?

I knew it was a lie because I had just heard the truth on Frank Talk.

Terry, when is Buchanan going to be on your show? Please ask him which candidate’s positions most closely matches his.

Hugh: Yes, our producer David was listening and heard Sean Hannity lie, too. That’s a shame.

I know Sean likes Rudy, but lying isn’t the way to get the job done.

Buchanan will be on at 3:05.

I think I saw Rudy, Romney, McCain and Huckabee all raise hands and then put them down.

Watch the YouTube video closely, and you will see Guiliani and McCain’s hands shoot up. Huckabee, and Romney were a little slower, and more guarded. When Fred stood up, Mitt applauded, and the others quickly chimed in. Later, Romney, Guiliani, McCain, and Huckabee enthusiastically embraced the “man-made global warming” idea. Pitiful. Charles Krauthammer said that this was the worst debate ever in the history of western civilization.

Oh, and Hannity DID say that “none of the candidates raised their hands” in response to the idiot moderator’s question.
He is coming very close to completely losing his credibility over this election coverage.

Good Evening Terry,

William–kindly please stop dropping links on the site. If you have something to say, say it. If you want to send me an article that you’d like me to take a look at, please send it to me at terry@terryfrank.net. I’ll be happy to take a look.

But just writing “hi Terry” and dropping a link makes you a spammer.

Check out the other youtube links.
Like the one on Ron Paul and the way that ABC/MSM frames the election.

Reminds me the Wilkie nomination fraud to ensure FDR was elected.

Good thing is now with the internet the state propaganda machines like CNN, ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX have a harder time trying to fool some of the people all of the time.

So much for all the suckers that contributed money.

(CNN) — Republican Fred Thompson has long faced criticism he lacks motivation to be President of the United States, but the Tennessee Republican’s latest comments Saturday are likely to spawn fresh heat.

ā€œI’m not particularly interested in running for president,” the former senator said at a campaign event in Burlington when challenged by a voter over his desire to be commander-in-chief.
