Heller Affirmed and Shotgun Salute!
As promised, Let’s Talk Frank on the radio will be hosting a barbecue to celebrate a pro-2nd amendment ruling. Details will follow!
Also, caller Kevin kicked off the show by firing off 3 shots from his 12 gauge pump shotgun as a salute to the founders, the folks of DC, and the Supreme Court. In honor of those freed from the bonds of handgun bans, he also fired three shots from his .357. The sound of freedom rang loud and clear over the airwaves.
Thanks to Kevin! And as Kevin warned, don’t try this inside the Knoxville City limits!!

“…don’t try this inside the Knoxville City limits!!”
Unless you are simply minding your own business and have your unconstitutional carry “permit”. Oh wait…they will still seize and search you without probable cause and “find some other reason to take [you] in”:

Maybe it’s a result of Conservative Republican™ Mayor Haslam’s membership in Bloomberg’s Mayors Against Guns club.

Who is more likely to take away our guns, Democrats or Republicans?

Fascism seems to be an equal opportunity ideal.
Unconstitutional is as unconstitutional does.

This is why Republican and Democrat are “teams.” Conservative and Liberal are indicative of beliefs. I am a conservative and I don’t think you will find many conservatives that want to take anyone’s guns. I do think that no matter which team they play for you will find many liberals who do.
As a conservative, I believe that people make choices and should be able to enjoy or be punished for those choices. Liberals tend to blame others for woes. John Doe is a rapist/murderer and since his mommy put him on the potty backwards during his toilet training, he is not fully responsible for his actions and should therefore take part in a government program. A conservative would hold him accountable: potty training or not.
We get hung up on party names and then start to interchange the names of parties with our beliefs. I am a conservative. I find myself voting R more than D. You cannot blame me for the woes and missteps of the Republican Party any more than you Phil Fulmer for T Martins lack of a professional career and his poor performance as a “baby’s daddy.”

BCB – you had everything right until you tried to use Fulmer as your example. That man sucks as a coach and probably has a big part of the blame for T Martin’s lack of an NFL career. Now as to the baby daddy part – that was just a racist comment about Obama. haha :p

I am NOT a UT or Fulmer fan, but since T was technically an adult, I will hold him responsible for his own issues. But I also doubt that Phil would have done anything to stop him either. I would be interested to see if T still has his Championship ring or if the “baby momma” family has it.
On a side note, totally unrelated to this post, I am not sure that we can call B-HO by any race since he won’t release his certified birth certificate, how do we know that he just doesn’t live in a tanning bed and the rest of the back story is nothing more than sniper fire as he got off the plane? So until he proves that anyone has a reason to be a racist, I’m not buying off on it.
Now back to slamming Fulmer……. HA!
