Obama’s Military Story
Here’s a must read from statewide radio host extraordinaire Steve Gill. He says the facts Obama laid out in an interview are provably false!
OBAMA MILITARY STORY HAS A HUGE HOLE IN IT!
by Steve Gill
During a weekend interview on ABC’s “This Week” with host George Stephanopoulos Democrat presidential nominee Barack Obama noted that heonce considered joining the U.S. military. His decision not to pursue service in the military has never been mentioned by Obama on the campaign trail nor was it included in either of his two memoirs.
But when asked about whether or not he ever thought about serving inuniform Obama replied: “”You know, I actually did. I had to sign up for Selective Service when I graduated from high school. And I was growing up
in Hawaii. And I have friends whose parents were in the military. There
are a lot of Army, military bases there. And I actually always thought of
the military as an ennobling and, you know, honorable option. But keep in
mind that I graduated in 1979. The Vietnam War had come to an end. We
weren’t engaged in an active military conflict at that point. And so, it’s
not an option that I ever decided to pursue.”
Barack Obama’s assessment of the climate with respect to the military and
the downsizing that was underway in 1979 may be accurate. And, he may have
considered military service at that time and decided to pursue other
options for the reasons he states; but the factual circumstances that he
laid out for George Stephanopoulos are provably false. He is not telling
the truth.
In 1975, President Gerald Ford brought the military draft to an end by
signing signed a Presidential Order, Number 4360, Terminating Registration
Procedures Under Military Selective Service Act. That order eliminated the
registration requirement for all 18-25 year old male citizens.
On July 2,1980, President Jimmy Carter reinstituted the registration
requirements after the Soviet Union invaded Afghanistan. Carter signed
Presidential Order 4771, Registration Under the Military Selective Service
Act, and retroactively re-established the Selective Service registration
requirement for all 18-26 year old male citizens born on or after January
1, 1960. The renewed registration process began on July 21,1980.
In other words, when Barack Obama graduated from high school in 1979 there
was no draft registration requirement in place. One year AFTER he
graduated from high school the Selective Service again began the process
of registering potential draftees. Obama may have considered joining the
military at that time, while he was purportedly enrolled in college, but
it was not when he graduated from high school
.
Since he is clearly lying about the circumstances surrounding his
consideration of military service, should he be believed when it comes to
the “fact” that he considered serving in the U.S. military?

It is funny how many things Obama, or should I say Jesus now I don’t know what to call him anymore, cannot remember correctly as the time of his relative that served in WWII!

From the “oops department.”
Obama is running a national ad making fun of McCain for not being able to use a computer or send e-mail. Reasons the ad is extremely stupid:
1) McCain – like many older Americans – can probably do some pretty complex things that computer users cannot do — flying a navy fighter comes to mind. Those things have computers on them don’t they?
2) There are lots of people over 50 that have issues with computers — and they vote in heavy numbers.
3) And most importantly – according to a Boston Globe article in 2000, McCain does not use keyboards – BECAUSE OF INJURIES SUSTAINED WHILE DEFENDING AMERICA IN THE VIETNAM WAR. The beatings left him unable to raise his arms, comb his hair AND use a keyboard.
Brilliant move O-commie. Keep it up.

Obama and Biden are really a good pair. First Biden’s “stand up, Chuck! Stand up!”
And now Obama—use the keyboard, McCain!

B-HO is running his campaign as he and the libs would this nation. “I can’t keep elevating myself so I am determined to run everyone else into the ground.” Is that change? Heck, that’s what they’ve been trying to do for years.
Someone earns more than the welfare mother so we must tear down someone who is succeeding. This welfare mother who didn’t finish school and won’t go back because of childcare issues is still perfectly able to go out on almost any night of the week, but is told that if she tries to better herself, she will lose benefits. So she stays where she is and becomes resentful of anyone that does better than her.
Has anyone heard about the Gustav evacuees that came to the Knoxville area? Or the Nashville area? FEMA dumped them here and Tennessee stood up to help as we usually do. They greeted these refugees and were thanked by complaints of how last time they came to Knoxville, they got $2000 debit cards and WalMart sent gift cards and they wanted to know where their gift pack was. If that is not the perfect example of how the entitlement culture has run amuck, I don’t know what is. Nashville refugees got into a gang fight over a cell phone in Nashville. They had other phones available there. Why did THAT phone cause such a problem? Maybe because it was being used for criminal or gang activity? I guess we will never know because that doesn’t fit into the “social justice” picture of the libs.
Libs need victims. Professional and lifelong victims need libs. In order to pacify these loud and greedy victims that will not elevate themselves, the libs know that they have to engage in the politics of destruction. Destroy anyone or anything that has more than the victims I need to get into office. I mean, destroy everyone but, B-HO and his money, the entire Kennedy clan, oh and lets not forget unions, Jesse Jackson is exempt too. But you can’t tell me I am wrong when B-HO himself admitted to plans that would raise taxes, yet decrease revenues in the name of “justice.” I’m not sure how much liberal “justice” we can stand as a nation.
So let B-HO’s campaign sling crap and throw rocks as the spoiled, “race card” playing dweebs that they are. When they are ready to engage in a real conversation with real and viable arguments and alternatives, we will let them sit at the adults table, until then, they should stay in their little chairs and knock off the food fight before I have to come over there. That is how childish and stupid their remarks are about McCain’s computer habits.
But let them continue to try to tear them down, it is backfiring and will continue to do so. Insanity is repeatedly doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. Keep slinging mud people and then call McCain our for the ’sleaziest, least honorable campaign in history’ for there will be that moment when you realize that what you hate and what you are condemning has been staring you in the mirror.

Did you know Stephen Hawking uses a computer and types his own work?
By SemiPundit on 09.14.08 1:50 pm
Did you know that Stephen Hawking is not running on either ticket? Somehow, McCain having a legitimate reason for not being as computer friendly as some of us is to be ignored. He has gotten his job done well enough so that he has been re-elected many times by his constituency. How many times has B-HO been re-elected? Isn’t it enough that he is the affirmative action candidate? McCain can’t use a computer and B-HO can’t think without a teleprompter or stand the scrutiny of an unbiased media.
So what’s your point Semi?

Did you know Stephen Hawking has to use a computer to communicate?
If Obama’s is so smart, why couldn’t he use Google to find out how many states our Country has?

Exerpts from the next Obama hit piece:
“…..[eerie cello music mixed with horror movie dinky piano music plays] John McCain claims to be a maverick. He claims to be an agent for change. But when recently asked who won American Idol, John McCain didn’t know. When asked if he liked The Strokes, he said no that they were a horrible medical condition. Is this who we need for our next President, a man who has never been to Bonaroo? On November 4th, vote for Barrack Obama, he makes up for his lack of governance by being trendy and hip. I’m Barrack Obama and I approve this text message.”
Obama is expected to receive a huge bounce in the 18-22 year old age group according to a recent poll on Myspace [800 UV (unlikely voters)] though his numbers seem to be slipping among voters who list their top priorities as “Leadership” and “Actual Issues”

Excerpts from Obama’s Florida election ads:
“John McCain is behind the times. He is so out of touch he can’t even use a computer. Our country is facing alot of new technology issues, internet commerce issues, and has entered the digital age. We need a President with a strong grasp of modern tecnology. On November 4th I encourage all you Floridians to try and figure out how to punch a hole in a ballot without messing up. I’m Barrack Obama and I approve this text message”
Obama’s “Pregnant chads, not women” campaign is being met with mixed success. While the campaign has produced positive numbers among voters who strongly agreed with the statement “Children cheat you out of your partying days”, his numbers appear to be slipping among likely voters who strongly agreed with the statements “Babies are not a punishment” and “I love my kids”.

The Obama camp is receiving advanced orders for a new PS3 and XBox 360 game who’s proceeds go to fund his Presidential campaign.
“The Diplomator”, slated for initial release in late October, lets players engage in foriegn policy decisions from the first peron perspective. Players take the role of President of the US and must bravely confront militant factions and dangerous despots in front of t.v. cameras and a cozy fire while sipping tea. Will the player knuckle down and kiss the rings of despots, shrewdly negotiate Isreali land capitulation, or savagely call for UN Sanctions and embargos? It’s up to your diplomatic measures.

My man Malcolm, you’re on a roll! Brilliant!! Simply brilliant!!
By Terry on 09.15.08 4:46 am
I am not sure that “on a roll” goes far enough. That was beyond it, but I’m not smart enough to know what beyond a roll is. Just like I was not even close to be smart enough to think like that. Dang good job Malcolm!! My hat’s off to ya!

2- he did not serve in USA Uniform. He will ever has experience of Military . from that he will not know how to lead this country .
3- he has only few years politician . he will not have enough brain for leading this country.
4- so , do not believe in him because he used his rhetoric and euphemism to distort Republican act.He look very presumpt when he said he as reformer try to change this country and defeat McCain
