Senator Corker Voted for Geithner
Guess who voted with the Democrats for Timothy Geithner? Yep, Bob Corker. Alexander did not. Thank you, Senator Alexander.
Now we know our Tennessee Senator had Czar Paulson on speed dial. The tele-mates had hot and heavy phone conversations about stimulating the economy. Geithner is Paulson II. Don’t take my word for it. Investigate.
Thanks to Michelle Malkin for keeping an eye on the votes, here’s the word:
And here are the 10 B.O. (Barack Obama/Bend Over) Republicans who sided with Obama and the Dems:
Corker (R-TN)
Cornyn (R-TX)
Crapo (R-ID)
Ensign (R-NV)
Graham (R-SC)
Gregg (R-NH)
Hatch (R-UT)
Shelby (R-AL)
Snowe (R-ME)
Voinovich (R-OH)Question: Where was GOP Sen. Kit Bond?
Update – Answer: Missed his plane, but would have voted against.
It’s kind of interesting that Senator Susan Collins, not the lady you’d necessarily label has a hard-a partisan, says it’s unacceptable to name Geithner as Treasury Secretary. But Corker has no problems with it?
I’m looking for a good explanation from Senator Corker on this one. But I won’t be surprised if we don’t hear one.
Here is my adopted Senator from Oklahoma, Senator James Inhofe on the subject:

Thank you for writing about this Terry. We have got to get the word out about Corker’s vote on this. It would be unconscionable to vote for Geithner, which is why, I believe, that Alexander voted against him.

Corker needs to put a cork in it. Go to Fox Business videos and pull up his appearance on Happy Hour. He’s so full of it his eyes are turning brown. What a worthless pile of crap.
“It was an honest mistake.” Right you are Bob. Tim The Taxman Geithner wasn’t going to pay the back taxes except that he was nominated for Santa Claus.
And then there was Orin wussie Hatch on Beck with brown eyes too. All of them must have had the same crap sandwich for lunch.
Over and over they roll over. The Dems spanked GOP butt on all of their nominations. But the “good ol’ party” bends over every time for a Dem administration. Why?

Because they are too lazy and too stupid to ACTUALLY work for it. All they want to do is be able to say that they didn’t rock the boat, even when it’s headed for the rocky shore. They all want somseone else to be the bearer of bad news. The GOP? Maybe it should be WOP for Worthless Old Party or WithOut Principals or Works Only on Power or Whiners Over Politics or………….

Since Corker voted for Geithner with all his JOB RELATED problems, is it safe to assume that he will also give a pass to Daschle?
That being said, we must as k why he would do that? Can we expect Corker to act on our behalf when WE make an honest mistake on OUR taxes? I’m betting not. So is it then safe to assume that he, and others like him, feel compelled to overlook and defend these fellow politicians and tax evaders because THEY want that treatment when THEY are caught?
Maybe we should really give Corkers tax returns a good going over if/when he runs for re-election. I say if because if he keeps those lips properly puckered, he might just end up workign for B-HO.
