Re-Election Arousal Bill Spends “$1,206,185,569 per page”
Congressman Marsha Blackburn delivered a speech yesterday raising several issues about the massive spending bill that’s supposed to stimulate our economy. The Congressional Budget Office doesn’t really know what this spending package will do. Their initial report indicated long term problems and a newly released report talks of crowding out private investment, but it does note that there is a possibility that jobs could be created. Uncertainty abounds from economists and experts, however the Democrats are selling an urgent and certain sales pitch that this is the cure all!
One thing is for certain. This bill is certainly arousing the Democrats! Stimulate our re-election is their motto.
This bill reminds me of an antique bottle of medicine that my mother has in her curio cabinet. The medicine is called Golden Relief. The ingredients? Ether and alcohol!! Will it cure you or kill you? Golden Relief all right! That’s this spending bill!
Here’s the link to Congressman Blackburn’s 3 minutes on the floor. Important issues she raises concern debate, the rush, the sheer volume of time it would take to read the over 1,500 pages, the spending per page of $1,206,185,569. That’s PER PAGE! But this bit of info from the Congressman really ticks me off:
Why the rush? Congressman Blackburn is told there’s a rush to get this done not for the economy, but because there are congressional delegations jetting off into the sunset at 6 on Friday.
Word is that Nancy Pelosi will be traveling to Italy. We called Speaker Pelosi’s office to verify, but were told that for national security reasons, they could not tell us. Hmmm. Sure.

Their genius, Geithner couldn’t answer a direct question of where the $2 trillion was going to come from for his vaporware plan. And finally had to admit, borrow, tax or print. But just like the TARP he had dollar amount based on pulling it out of his ass.

Nancy won’t release her travel plans, but apparently B-HO is so open with his that homeless women living in cars not only find out about it, but can get tickets!! How bass-akwards is that?

1) Show some dignity and self respect by not begging on national TV.
2) I’m sure the bank didn’t show up like Snidely Whiplash unannounced to throw her out on the street. Foreclosure takes months.
3) If you were making a house payment why the hell can’t you find a place to rent cheaper than the house payment?
Or
Use the full force of the Federal government to steal from one family trying to get by and pay their mortgage to buy this woman a new home and Lincoln Continental and deny that it’s socialism.

Where’s the outrage? Congress grills company executives over their expensive junkets when the government is bailing them out. Then, our Congress turns around and goes on their own trips, which I am sure are being paid for by the taxpayer, as well.

Well by now we all know that she lost her house years ago, had other property to sell, refused other forms of charity because she and her son might have had to put out some effort instead of sitting back in Uncle Sam’s hammock with an adult beverage.
Anyone living in a car does so because of choises THEY made in their life and NOT because I choose to spend my money on MY children and family.

Maybe we should ask if those misfortunes are always SOMEONE ELSE’S responsibility? Or should people take what life gives them insteadof sitting on the sidewalk waiting for the Great Messiah to lift them up like Lazurua? IF he was so great why hadn’t he ever helped his aunt gain citizenship? Or help his brother in Africa? Because that assistance did not push forth a political agenda. And can’t we all see how free he is with other people’s money? What charities did he give to except his racist, hate-filled “church”? But he sure does use MY money to do his “charitable” works.
I didn’t adopt Henrietta or her lazy, can’t-work son. Maybe she needs to quit attending political rallies and get a damn job!!!! Until then I can pretty safely say that HER misfortune is her own making since she won’t do what is required to make it better!!

The new mortgage bailout for deadbeats and dummies is raising a national stir. Talk radio is being flooded by citizens who pay their mortgage on time as well as the rest of their contractual obligations and are pissed off that the full force of the IRS is going to be used to “redistribute the wealth”.
But just like the stumbulus bill 10-to-1 against, those dummicraps in D.C. are going to do it anyway. One can only hope that 2 years of leftist rope will be enough for Harry and Nancy to hang themselves.
