All You Need To Know About the Cap and Trade Scam In Just One Little Article
More than any article I’ve read lately, this Bloomberg discussion of cap and trade legislative tweaking is a must read! I swear to you, it’s like a cast of characters straight from Shakespeare’s own quill!
My favorite line is from this huckster:
Carbon markets “will die, and the temperature on the planet will go up by a couple of degrees, more than it would have otherwise, and we’ll be really sorry about it,” Winters said.
Oh my gosh! The planet will die if we can’t make a dime on trading carbon like it’s oil!!
And then good grief, I find myself thanking a dad-gum Democrat for this wise comment:
Over-the-counter trades accounted for 46 percent of the European Union’s emissions trading market in the three months through June, according to data by New Energy Finance, a London- based research group.
Senator Byron Dorgan, a North Dakota Democrat, said he will oppose creating any carbon-trading market.
“It won’t be very long before we have derivatives, we’ll have swaps, we’ll have synthetic swaps, you name it, we’ll have all of them and it.
Right on, Senator. Of course, I’m still not for capping even without the market. As we’ve seen time and time and time and time again in D.C., they kill the beast only to resurrect it from its ashes a few legislative sessions down the road. (In other words, these Senators will say anything to get the legislation passed on the front end. Notice: have these same folks stopped speculation in the energy market as they are acknowledging in this piece?)
Why we don’t laugh these clowns right out of town for even raising the idea of trading carbon on an exchange like its corn or pork bellies is absolutely a complete mystery to me! Sometimes I feel like I’m living in some type of wild Alice in Wonderland movie. Really.

I have to wonder who will track and see if carbon is real, imagined or created by those that stand to gain. Afterall, I would hate to see such an important lie as global climate change sullied by unprovable facts like “jobs saved” by the “Stimulus package.”

BCB: Can you believe we’re talking about this when you look at Europe? Did you see the stat I put in blue bold? 46% of over the counter trades in 3 months were in carbon! Lunacy!

I’m sure that AIG, Goldmann Sachs adn others we bailed out will profit handsomely by this.

Follow the money and follow the links to the insiders. Goldman Sachs in conjunction with Al Gore’s Generation Investment Management consortium will control the commodity exchange for carbon credits. I looked at the investors in Gore’s $1.5 billion GIM ponzi scheme as registered at the SEC. No surprise either that the signatory on the filing is a former Goldman Sachs big dog, David Blood. Interesting.
Amdocs which provides internet and communications services. Hmm, like building out the carbon trading infrastructure?
Blackbaud, accounting management software for carbon trading exchange?
Plum Creek Timber, the largest and most geographically diverse private landowner in the nation. Hmm, maybe they will get the offsets for growing trees they already own with a nice kickback to Al “Capone” Gore.
Then there is GE and a host of medical companies that will stand to benefit from lucrative set aside contracts from the health care bill.
Obama is putting together an infrastructure that will enrich him and his thugs via government regulation and outright looting of the taxpayers. So where is the investigative journalism to expose this mafia? It’s so easy even a caveman could do it.
Lest I forget, AFLAC has invested in GIM. One of those eeeeeevil health insurance companies.
Then there are the connected lobbyists like Anthony Podesta, brother of John Podesta, CEO of Center for American Progress. Tony’s clients on K-Street include Walmart, NBC, host of pharma companies. U.S. Chamber of Commerce? Hmm, aren’t they against cap and trade? So what kind of back door deal is being cut for them? What deals are being worked out with Walmart so it is now in favor of universal health care and pro card check?
Then there is the Securing America’s Future Energy and Renewable Fuels Association which stand to reap a lot of cash from those green energy initiatives directed by the communist green czar Von Jones.
If the above is not fascism then what is?
