Ouch! That’s got to leave a mark on Corker.

I’ve never heard of this happening before, but maybe you have.
The Bott Radio Network in Memphis, a Christian radio network, has issued disclaimers on their stations regarding U.S. Senate candidate Bob Corker’s radio ads. They explain  that they are required to run Corker’s ads on their network, but that they are also at liberty to tell the “rest of the story.”  The “rest of the story” is the play by play of Corker’s record on abortion, from his opposition by Tennessee Right to Life to an abortion doctor being a prominent supporter.  It’s pretty bold.

It’s got to sting Corker pretty badly.

Ouch!

If I were Corker I would pull the adds to stop that beating. Mommy will not be able to stop the bleeding caused by that pounding.

I hope the FCC doesn’t find out about this.

Brittney–I would assume that an experienced radio network like Bott made sure of their abilities under the law.

If you listen to their ad, they say that the FCC REQUIRES them to play Corker’s lies–I mean ads.

In other words, they don’t want his ads but are required by the FCC to run them. Because they are required to run them, they allow as to their right to set the record straight.

They didn’t endorse Ed or Van (although Ed does have the Tn Right to Life endorsement) and didn’t encourage people to vote one way or another. They gave the information on Corker’s record–indeed their right.

[...] Earlier, I posted the disclaimer being run by the Bott Radio Network that lays out Bob Corker’s record on abortion. [...]

Be sure your sins will find you out! Corker has really messed up big time. Hiding out and not commenting is making this even worse!

[...] Mr. Rich Bott, Executive Vice-President of Bott Radio Network, addressed the issue of FCC rules in the comments section of my follow up post on the Bott Radio Network. The original post is here. [...]
