Surprise, Surprise! Lamar Votes With Snowe and Collins Again

Is this Tennessee or Maine?

In the age of the Obama administration and Pelosi/Reid’s super-sizing of government spending and control, Senator Alexander can no longer hide behind the down-home, good ole’ country boy plaid.  The curtain has been pulled back.  Sen. Alexander is not likely to run again, it seems obvious.  But his legacy will be a little more honestly reflected now that our age of socialism is exposing the politicians who have been elected throughout their careers by employing a “conservative” charade.

Thanks to President Obama and Speaker Pelosi, the scales are falling from eyes all over the nation.  We’re able to see who is the real deal.  Who has principles.  And who doesn’t.

From Roll Call:

Senate Judiciary ranking member Jeff Sessions (R-Ala.) said Monday that he will filibuster the nomination of David Hamilton to serve on the 7th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.

“I think I will support not going forward,” Sessions told reporters, criticizing Hamilton’s record as a district court judge in southern Indiana.

So much for the filibuster.  Senator Alexander joined Snowe, Collins, Lugar and few others in voting to move forward with Hamilton.  Truly surprising is that Sen. Lindsey Graham and Sen. Voinovich actually voted nay.

Senator Bob Corker stuck with Senator Sessions by voting nay as well.

I’m beginning to wonder if Lamar thinks that plaid is really camo. Even if he isn’t planning on running again, surely he can’t think that people will allow him any level of control or influence coming out of our state.

I realize that he is truly entrenched. With all the farm type fertilizer coming our of DC right now, can’t we use it to fill in thsoe trenches and get some real representation?

BCB: That’s golden! Plaid Isn’t Camo! We see you! Beautiful in its simplicity.

Go here to see who is running against Cohen, Cooper, Davis, Gordon and Tanner. Let’s get behind our candidates NOW!
